Planning for the Future
At Uniting North Coomera, we’re blessed with our site. We are located on the riverfront, and have facilities which will be amazing once refurbished and enlarged. We also share our site location with Blue Care and Young Care / Wesley Mission, two other arms of the Uniting Church that allow us to be integrated in our approach to vision and mission.
We have been working behind the scenes to redevelop our site for the sake of our future. Currently concept plans are being prepared and then the process will begin.
UNC is presently in the process of planning for the extension and renovation of the current church building, hall, kitchen and toilet facilities to cater for a larger congregation. The desire is to have a community meeting place, a space to gather and share stories, to express love and care through our relationship with Jesus. The site is in a unique picturesque location on the Coomera River, restful and calming amidst the bustle of city life.
Our Op Shop is part of our mission and discipleship and intrinsically involved in our community. It is now located at the church complex and continues to be at the core of our community and our heart as a congregation.
